Football Recap: Tripoli Comes Up Short

If Tripoli was riding high fresh off their 44-0 takedown of West Central two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers took a blow against the Turkey Valley Trojans on Friday, falling 58-8. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Tripoli's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Turkey Valley, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tripoli is set to take on their familiar foe Don Bosco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Turkey Valley will challenge rival Cedar Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
