Basketball Preview: Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles vs. Quince Orchard Cougars
Seneca Valley and Quince Orchard are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles will square off against the Quince Orchard Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Seneca Valley saw some tournament action on Friday. They came up short against Wootton, falling 65-39. The Screamin' Eagles have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Defeat or not, Seneca Valley got some senior leadership from Jaysen Moise and Exodus Waites. Moise posted 15 points and five rebounds, while Waites put up five points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds gave Waites a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Xzavier Mabone, who had six points.
Even though they lost, Seneca Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Quince Orchard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Magruder.
Quince Orchard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Seneca Valley, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
