Freedom Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Faith Christian with a sharp 10-0 win. Fans of Freedom Christian Academy have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Victoria Bryant made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Bryant was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kaylee Powell and Savannah Graham did most of the damage at the plate: Powell scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3, while Graham went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Graham has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Melanie Multerer, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Freedom Christian Academy pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.6 runs. As for Faith Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Freedom Christian Academy will face off against Lawrence Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Freedom Christian Academy has yet to allow a single run through four games this season, a streak Lawrence Academy will look to end. As for Faith Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wake Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
