Football Recap: Buena Vista Comes Up Short

Buena Vista extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 1-8. They took a blow against the South Sioux City Cardinals, falling 40-6. The Bison were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-6.

As for South Sioux City, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 25, 2024 (when they won 42-0).

Brady Daugherty was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 298 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 39 yards and one touchdown. Those 298 passing yards gave him a new career-high.

As of now, neither Buena Vista nor South Sioux City have any future games scheduled.
