Volleyball Recap: Flanagan-Cornell Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Flanagan-Cornell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Midland Timberwolves on Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 24-26, 25-9.

Carleigh Pfaff was nothing short of spectacular: she had 26 digs and one assist.

Flanagan-Cornell's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Midland, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7.

Flanagan-Cornell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Lexington on the 9th. As for Midland, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Marquette on the 9th.
