It's playoff time, and Olympian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Central Spartans on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Olympian took Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 15-25, 27-25, 25-12, 23-25, 15-10.
Olympian's win bumped their record up to 20-15. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 21-17.
Coming up, Olympian will square off against Mira Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
