Caesar Rodney waltzed into their match on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Delaware Military Academy Seahawks by a score of 5-2. That's more bragging rights for the Riders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Colby Rall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, William Lorentz was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jordan Simms, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Caesar Rodney's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Delaware Military Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Caesar Rodney will take on Sussex Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delaware Military Academy, they will face off against First State Military Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
