Roman Acosta was a major factor in Gahr's win over Bellflower on Friday. Acosta turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 135 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes, while also rushing for 31 yards and one touchdown. His passing game has become a key predictor of Gahr's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Acosta and Gahr will head out on the road to take on Lynwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gladiators are a perfect 9-0 against the Knights going back to October of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
