Haiden Kelso put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Friday. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Kings Christian's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 2-0-1 (and 1-7 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Kelso and Kings Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Legacy Christian Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Kings Christian will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 594 places lower in California), but they're not letting that get them down.
