Softball Recap: Coleman Takes a Loss

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Coleman was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to the Auburndale Eagles.

Coleman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trina Wendt, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Kara Goddard also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Coleman has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Auburndale, their record now sits at 19-5.

As of now, neither Coleman nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
