Elmira strolled into their game on Saturday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They never let the Horseheads Blue Raiders get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Elmira's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four games.

Kaelan Brenen-Buseck and Hayden Rolls scored both of Elmira's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Elmira's victory bumped their record up to 5-0-1. As for Horseheads, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Elmira is set to square off against their familiar foe Corning-Painted Post at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Horseheads will take on rival Ithaca at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
