Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Badin's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Badin won the last time they faced Mt. Healthy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Badin Rams enjoyed a cozy 35-17 win over the Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Fighting Owls are ranked 612th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Badin has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Mt. Healthy, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Badin will square off against Archbishop Alter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Archbishop Alter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matches. As for Mt. Healthy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Northwest at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
