Volleyball Recap: Mater Academy East Las Vegas Comes Up Short

Mater Academy East Las Vegas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Durango Trailblazers. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trailblazers from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas' loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Durango, the victory got them back to even at 15-15.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Clark on the 11th. As for Durango, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Cheyenne on the 11th.
