Volleyball Recap: Wapsie Valley Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wapsie Valley can now relate to. They came up short against the Denver Cyclones on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Cyclones recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Wapsie Valley's offense was headlined by Sawyer Buhr and Taylor Buhr, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Tessa Brunscheon and her 20 assists.

Wapsie Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 24-18. As for Denver, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 48-1.

Wapsie Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Denver has already played their next contest (against Grundy Center), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
