Flag Football Game Preview: Aurora West College Prep Academy Spartans vs. Rangeview Raiders

The Aurora West College Prep Academy Spartans will head out to square off against the Rangeview Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aurora West College Prep Academy is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Aurora West College Prep Academy came up short against Eagle Ridge Academy on Saturday, falling 40-19.

Despite the loss, Aurora West College Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Destiny Martinez rushed for 90 yards and one TD on only six carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 60 yards.

Even if they lost, Aurora West College Prep Academy's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Maria Gutierrez Benitez.

Meanwhile, Rangeview beat George Washington 18-6 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Rangeview's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Aurora West College Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
