Soccer Game Preview: Westhill vs. Mexico + How To Watch

The Westhill Warriors will face off against the Mexico Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Westhill fell victim to Marcellus and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. Westhill haven't had much luck with Marcellus recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Mexico also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Christian Brothers Academy on Wednesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Mexico can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 240th, while Christian Brothers Academy are ranked 14th).

Westhill's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Mexico, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1.

Westhill took their victory against Mexico when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 7-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
