Hooker won the last time they faced Watonga and Justin Palacios did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 34-14 victory on Friday with plenty of help from Palacios, who rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for nine yards and one TD. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made three total tackles.

Hooker is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Watonga, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hooker will face off against rival Crescent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Watonga is set to take on their familiar foe Merritt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
