Soccer Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakewood Rangers.

Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-4. As for Lakewood, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8-2.

Hoover and Lakewood could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Vikings will square off against North Ridgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (295 vs. 67). Meanwhile, Lakewood (ranked 278th) will meet Roosevelt (ranked 82nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
