Soccer Game Preview: East Chapel Hill vs. Ravenscroft

The East Chapel Hill Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Ravenscroft Ravens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when East Chapel Hill took on Carrboro on Monday. East Chapel Hill fell just short of Carrboro by a score of 2-1. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Hazel Kaplan, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Ravenscroft unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Riverside-Durham by a score of 4-3 on Monday.

Having lost for the first time this season, East Chapel Hill fell to 2-1. As for Ravenscroft, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

East Chapel Hill might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Ravenscroft when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can East Chapel Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
