Baseball Recap: Stark Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stark can now relate to. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingswood Knights on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in May.

Stark now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Kingswood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Stark does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kingswood, they will challenge Hanover on Wednesday. The Marauders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
