Volleyball Recap: South Elgin Gets the Win

South Elgin posted their closest victory since March 29th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Plainfield Central Wildcats 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Storm.

Luka Jovanovic paced South Elgin's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jovanovic got some help from Tyler Aluquin and his ten assists. Ethan Howell controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

South Elgin's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Plainfield Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

South Elgin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against West Aurora on the 15th. As for Plainfield Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Oswego on the 15th.
