Volleyball Recap: Maple Heights Comes Up Short

Maple Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Chaney Cowboys.

While Maple Heights was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Chaney's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 26-24.

Maple Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Chaney, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Coming up, Maple Heights will be taking part in a tournament against Garfield Heights at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Chaney, they will venture away from home to face off against Struthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
