It was a good run, but Citizens Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 10-1 to the Wayne County Yellow Jackets. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Patriots, who until this game were averaging 3.84 runs allowed.

Citizens Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Gourley, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Citizens Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Wayne County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
