For the second straight game, Timpanogos will face off against Orem. The Timberwolves will be playing at home against the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Timpanogos is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Timpanogos had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Orem on Tuesday. Timpanogos got a massive performance out of Cooper Hawkes, who went 3-for-5 with one home run and five RBI. That's the most RBI Hawkes has posted since back in March. Jace Hunter was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.

Timpanogos always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .649. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orem only posted an OBP of .375.

Timpanogos pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Orem, they moved to 14-9 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Timpanogos hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .370. However, it's not like Orem struggles in that department as they've averaged .347. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
