Basketball Recap: Roman Cox's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rockport-Fulton over Sinton

Rockport-Fulton lost against Sinton back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockport-Fulton Pirates lost to the Sinton Pirates at home by a 52-37 margin.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Roman Cox, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Kizer Jr, who posted four points along with six boards and three steals.

Rockport-Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Sinton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-16.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Jones the next time they take the court. Sinton will host Jones at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Rockport-Fulton will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
