After both having extra time off, Mountain Lake/Comfrey and the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Mountain Lake/Comfrey came up short against Adrian/Ellsworth on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Mountain Lake/Comfrey was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Adrian/Ellsworth's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Edgerton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda.

Edgerton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.

Mountain Lake/Comfrey's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Edgerton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16-1.
