Volleyball Recap: Pickerington Central Tigers vs. Reynoldsburg Raiders

Pickerington Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Reynoldsburg Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 10th.

While Pickerington Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-12.

Reynoldsburg found their leader in freshman Nimesh Biswa, who had six digs and three aces. Anthony Licea Acosta also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Pickerington Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Reynoldsburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Pickerington Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reynoldsburg, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Worthington Kilbourne at 7:30 p.m. on May 9.
