Soccer Recap: South Spencer Comes Up Short

South Spencer came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-1 to the Southridge Raiders. South Spencer haven't had much luck with Southridge recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

South Spencer's goal came courtesy of Gavin Harmon, who's now up to five this season.

South Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Southridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.

South Spencer didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Barr-Reeve on the 20th. As for Southridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Princeton on the 20th.
