Softball Recap: Denison Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Denison's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Walnut Grove Wildcats on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Yellow Jackets were not able to get on the board.

Denison has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. Walnut Grove pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Denison will welcome Lovejoy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walnut Grove, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Walnut Grove Wildcats take on Greenville Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. They are strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
