Soccer Recap: Leechburg Takes a Loss

Leechburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the North Catholic Trojans, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Leechburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 563rd, while North Catholic are ranked 58th).

Leechburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16-1. As for North Catholic, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1-1.

Coming up, Leechburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Deer Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Catholic, they will venture away from home to face off against Hampton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
