Softball Recap: Atlantic City Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Atlantic City finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 12-0 to the Holy Spirit Spartans. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost three in a row.

Atlantic City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Holy Spirit, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Atlantic City will square off against Pleasantville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Holy Spirit, they will challenge Middle Township at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
