Volleyball Game Preview: Linton Lions vs. Mobridge-Pollock Tigers

The Linton Lions are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Linton is headed out to face Mobridge-Pollock after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Garrison back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Linton took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-11, 25-13.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Mobridge-Pollock challenged Great Plains Lutheran on Saturday. The Tigers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 2-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
