Soccer Recap: Lansingburgh Takes a Loss

Lansingburgh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Troy Flying Horses. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Lansingburgh couldn't quite close it out.

Lansingburgh's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Troy, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lansingburgh will take on rival Ichabod Crane at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Troy is set to square off against their familiar foe Albany Academy for Boys at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
