Waccamaw won the last time they faced Johnsonville and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors breezed past the Flashes to the tune of 40-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

A big part of Waccamaw's victory came down to the chemistry between Andre Grate and his top target Nick Kondratenko. Grate rushed for 52 yards and two scores while Kondratenko rushed for 100 yards. What's more, Grate racked up 92 passing yards, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Waccamaw was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 329 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Johnsonville only rushed for 127 rushing yards.

Johnsonville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zaghe Davis, who rushed for 92 yards and one touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Takhari Ross, who picked up 108 receiving yards and one TD.

Waccamaw now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Johnsonville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Waccamaw didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 50-14 win against Andrews on the 19th. As for Johnsonville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-6 victory against Lake View on the 19th.
