Football Game Preview: Oscar Smith Tigers vs. Great Bridge Wildcats + How To Watch

Oscar Smith is a perfect 8-0 against Great Bridge since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will square off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Oscar Smith knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Great Bridge likes a good challenge.

If Great Bridge heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Oscar Smith took over last week. The Tigers enjoyed a cozy 35-21 victory over Nansemond River on Friday.

Lonnie Andrews was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 187 yards and two TDs, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, Great Bridge and Deep Creek were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Great Bridge suffered a 34-33 loss. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oscar Smith pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. As for Great Bridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
