Cross Plains never got on the board in their matchup last Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Menard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the Menard Yellowjackets. With that win, the Buffaloes brought their scoring average up to 7.4 runs per game.

Cross Plains' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Menard, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Cross Plains will be playing in front of their home fans against Stephenville FAITH at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Menard, they will head out to square off against Mason at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mason has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.44 runs per game on average), something Menard will no doubt try to take advantage of.
