Softball Game Preview: Paris Greyhounds vs. George Rogers Clark Cardinals

Paris hasn't had much luck against George Rogers Clark recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Greyhounds will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Paris lost 10-1 to Bourbon County on Tuesday. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paris saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kay Oliver, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, George Rogers Clark unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Montgomery County, falling 16-1. The Cardinals were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the five matchups prior), but the Indians' pitchers proved too tough.

George Rogers Clark's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-2. As for Paris, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
