Basketball Recap: Parkview Takes a Loss

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 46-12 loss at the hands of the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 48-33 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Parkview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Springfield Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Parkview will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Glendale at 6:45 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Springfield Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 50-32 defeat against Logan-Rogersville on the 17th.
