It's playoff time, and Village had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Mountaineers as they're now sitting on five straight.
The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 24-26, 25-16, 25-21.
Norah Hollis paced Village's offense, picking up 17 kills. Hollis got some help from Addison Miller and her 52 assists. Mary Estares controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
Village's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 18-7.
Village didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Stargate School on the 13th. Prospect Ridge Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
