Volleyball Recap: Denver Waldorf Takes a Loss

Denver Waldorf saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Springfield Longhorns. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15.

Annie Omeara paced Denver Waldorf's offense, picking up six kills. Omeara got some help from Lara Gregory and her seven assists. Finally, Omeara was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Denver Waldorf now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Springfield, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Denver Waldorf has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Vanguard Classical East on the 18th. As for Springfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Caliche on the 18th.
