Corner Canyon had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Lehi on Tuesday. The Chargers blew past the Pioneers 3-0. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pioneers, too.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-20.

Corner Canyon's offense was headlined by Maia Schwalger and Halle Bills, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Nafanua Alofipo and her 32 assists. Maija Mortensen and Libby Taylor kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Corner Canyon's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. As for Lehi, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.
