Soccer Game Preview: Manual vs. DePue

The Manual Rams will head out to square off against the DePue Little Giants at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manual has given up an average of 6.5 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Manual is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They came up short against Canton, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, DePue has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They and East Peoria finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Monday. The result (or lack thereof) marked DePue's first draw of the season.

DePue's draw makes their record 0-5-1 this season. As for Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Manual might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from DePue in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
