On Saturday, Brownstown Central faced NorthWood in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Brownstown Central Braves fell just short of the NorthWood Panthers by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that the Braves let down their fans at home.

Wheeler is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in the last 38 games she's played dating back to last season. Olivia Fritz was another key player, getting nine digs.
NorthWood can attribute much of their success to Anna Roeder, who had 13 digs and two aces.
Brownstown Central moved to 28-3 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak. As for NorthWood, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-6.
Brownstown Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. NorthWood has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against South Bend St. Joseph on the 14th.
