It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Glenbard South ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the South Elgin Storm 56-54. The Raiders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory got Glenbard South back to even at 2-2. As for South Elgin, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenbard South will face off against Elmwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
