Rancho Cucamonga had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 31-24 win over the Chino Hills Huskies. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 31-21 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rancho Cucamonga to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyree Wilson, who rushed for 108 yards and one score on only six carries, and also picked up 62 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wilson's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Dillion Sykes did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 101 receiving yards.

Rancho Cucamonga didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Nate Mensah led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He is becoming a predictor of Rancho Cucamonga's success: when he posts at least one interception the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Rancho Cucamonga's record now sits at 6-4. As for Chino Hills, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
