Volleyball Game Preview: D.H. Conley Vikings vs. Chapel Hill Tigers

D.H. Conley has won 14 straight games at home, while Chapel Hill has won 14 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Vikings will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

D.H. Conley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on South Central with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: D.H. Conley took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Chapel Hill earned a 3-1 victory over Topsail on Thursday.

Chapel Hill had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-9, 25-13, 25-20.

D.H. Conley's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Chapel Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.

D.H. Conley beat Chapel Hill 3-1 in their previous matchup back in January of 2021. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
