Jake Rauscher posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Plymouth Whitemarsh is 4-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-5 otherwise.

Rauscher's strong effort led Plymouth Whitemarsh over Abington and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
