Basketball Recap: Lanier's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lanier strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past Brandon with points to spare, taking the game 66-48. Lanier has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Brandon, too.

Brandon's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeff Grace, who posted nine points. Josiah Jackson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Lanier's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Brandon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Lanier will have a chance to go back-to-back against Brandon: the pair will be back at it again later today.
