Baseball Game Preview: Marinette Marines vs. Oconto Falls Panthers

For the second straight game, Marinette will face off against Oconto Falls. The Marines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Marinette came up short against Oconto Falls and fell 6-1. The contest marked the Marines' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Marinette saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Stauss, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Ethan Doubek also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

The victory keeps Oconto Falls at an undefeated 5-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average this season. As for Marinette, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.
