Hamilton has gone 9-1 against Morrisville-Eaton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Emerald Knights will look to defend their home field against the Mavericks at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Morrisville-Eaton will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Hamilton extended their winning streak to six on Monday. The Emerald Knights were the clear victors by a 25-6 margin over New York Mills. The Emerald Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Isadora Catania spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Eve McCorkle was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhiannon Murray, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Hamilton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.

Meanwhile, Morrisville-Eaton hadn't done well against Oriskany recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Mavericks put the hurt on the Skyhawks with a sharp 17-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mavericks considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Hamilton pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Morrisville-Eaton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Hamilton came out on top in a nail-biter against Morrisville-Eaton in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 9-8. Do the Emerald Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mavericks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
